The submissions from the eYeka / Nikon community have been absolutely amazing. It’s great to see how far the creators were able to stretch their imagination, creativity, and story-telling. In fact, we were truly hard-press to select just 3 winners, so we will be looking to reward additional videos in the near future.

Thank you for your choice. It was one of the hardest project in my life. From the start of shooting everything went badly. Every new location met us with a bad surprises . In one moment project collapsed and got out of control and I decided to stop shooting, but i was reassured by Ievgeniia Galitsyna. Thanks her for this. As a result: instead of 2 shooting days we had 5, instead of approved budget we had much more bigger, Began project with one team finished with another.

What am I leading to… If you like your idea, try to bring it to the end no matter how difficult it is. Thanks Nikon for test of endurance, for good opportunity for creativity and for worthy reward. :)

“Inspiration Around You” is compelling because of the strong composition. We loved the way this video incorporated still photos that draw the viewers in, as it continually engages and offers visual surprises from one scene to another. It is visually very strong but the film technique never overpowers the subject nor the story, and in that sense, this is a very well-balanced movie.

The story of "What Lights You?" is refreshing, heart-warming, and unpretentiously fun. It captures the ethos of this era with a charming concept. What is a pleasant contrast is the use of the key social media symbol, the hashtag, without an overt references to social media. The topical subjects woven in added to the strength of the video and were well-integrated. Though a documentary-form of a capture, the color palette and scenes still delivers in an artistic way.

The ability to convey a deeply meaningful message is the hallmark of a great story-teller, and this entry does so with class. The music is well-paired and the pace of the video all works seamlessly together. An emotive, visually-stunning video that ends with a surprising twist, it brings to the limelight the passion to pursue one’s dream.
