Design a new and exciting, sweet treat suitable for afternoon ‘digital breaks’!
Multi-tasking is a way of life for many, causing us to seek moments when we take a break from the busyness of everyday life. No matter what is occupying you; home tasks, kids, paid work or getting educated, we all seek that small break in the afternoon. We often use those moments when we seek a bit of respite from the busyness to pick up our phone, laptop or tablet and reconnect with others virtually. Messaging, social media, WhatsApp groups, YouTube videos and emails: they are all moments for digital connection that often form part of a ‘break’ from our work or study.
This is often also a moment to enjoy a sweet treat to help mark the transition from your focus activity such as work, homework, study to a moment of relaxation and gets us into a different headspace. It can signal a change of pace from focused work to something a little different and easier going. Sometimes it can be tricky to manage holding a phone or tablet or typing on a keyboard whilst enjoying your favourite sweet treat or snack. And some treats tend to pull you back into reality instead of enhancing your digital connection because they are too demanding of your attention to eat. Then there is the risk of smudges, crumbs and sticky fingers to deal with.
Few sweet treats are available in Australia that are uniquely suited to the digital break moment that effectively enable you to have your sweet treat whilst holding your phone or tablet or using a laptop. We are eager to design and launch a new product in this space that can be an accompaniment to your afternoon ‘change-of-pace’ moment without getting in the way of your catch up on the news, emails or social media.
We need your creativity to bring new product ideas to life that would satisfy an afternoon sweet craving and be perfect for someone taking a few moments out from their work or study to catch up on social media, emails, texts or the news using their digital device.EASY SUBMISSION form is active for this contest.
