Doncafé crowdsourced stand-out packaging for a coffee mix range in Serbia & Romania!

Doncafe´ wanted to refresh its sachet & box packaging to help their coffee mixes stand out on a very crowded shelf. From a design perspective, the brief to the eÿeka community was to focus on the brand’s unique sensual and indulgent experience.


The eÿeka - Doncafé winning idea was ...

In 3 weeks, ending in early January 2014, the marketing team received 72 ideas from 25 countries.

The winning idea, from an American professional graphic designer, combined bold, clean design elements, rich & sensual texture and a clear range architecture that really popped on-shelf.

As an independent initiative after the contest, the Doncafé team asked the winner to collaborate directly with them & their pack Agency to finalize the artwork. The eÿeka winner gladly accepted the final mission.

New Doncafé packaging was launched in 2014!

By September 2014, in just 9 months, Doncafé shipped the coffee mixes with the new sachet & box designs to retail across Serbia & Romania.
